Request a session

Choose a topic, a language and a format. We publish how many women asked for a topic and nothing at all about them.

What would you like covered?

The most useful requests are the ones the catalogue does not already cover.

4. Should this count publicly?

Either way, no individual request is ever listed, searchable or shown to another member. The choice is only about whether it is added to the published total.

Deliberately coarse. A session about access to public maternity care is a different session in Tamil Nadu and in Bihar.

Please leave out your own diagnosis, dates and clinic. This is a request for a topic, not a question about you — and questions about you belong in a private question.

What women are already asking for

Aggregate totals only. AskHer does not publish, sell or show anyone which topics an individual asked about, and only requests whose sender chose to be counted appear here.

Nobody has asked for a session yet

No topic has been requested so far, so there is no demand to report. Yours would be the first — which makes it more likely to get scheduled, not less.

Who hosts these sessions

Clinical sessions are hosted by clinicians whose registration AskHer has checked. Peer facilitators host conversations about experience — they are trained and they are not clinicians, and every session says which kind it is before you register.

A registration check confirms that a clinician is registered to practise. It is not a judgement about any particular thing she says, and it is never bought.
