Contribute as a clinician

Write educational answers for people who are trying to understand their own health. A bounded commitment, your own name on your work, and an editor who prepares it with you.

How we should route questions to you
Languages you can answer in

Only the ones you would be comfortable explaining a diagnosis in. A wrong entry here sends someone's question to a clinician who cannot read it.

Anything we should declare

What happens next

  1. 1. An editor checks your registration against the council's own records.
  2. 2. We write to you either way, whether or not it is accepted.
  3. 3. If it is, your profile says "Registration checked by AskHer" with the date it was checked.

A registration check confirms you are who you say you are. It is not a judgement about any particular answer — those are reviewed separately, every time.

What we ask of contributors

  • A commitment you choose, and can pause.
  • Answers that say plainly what cannot be determined online.
  • Your approval of the final wording before anything is published.
  • No diagnosis and no prescribing — this is education, and the boundary is real.

What you keep

Your name on your work wherever it appears, a non-exclusive relationship, the right to link to your own practice, and a documented way to withdraw.

A space for colleagues, too

A registration check also opens a private peer community — second opinions, case discussion and journal club with other checked doctors. Not public, no likes or rankings.

Nothing on this form is published by submitting it. Your registration number is evidence for the check and is never shown to readers. What you declare is shown on your public profile once your registration has been checked.
